The surface of stingray leather is covered with hard, minute projections of enamel, making it a very strong material with excellent stain and water resistance. Stingray products are made by polishing the surface and using leather that has been softly tanned, but due to its hardness, it is said to be difficult to process unless you are a limited number of highly skilled craftsmen. Akunas has a unique technique for rounding off the corners of the projections on the surface. This makes the surface smoother and more lustrous than regular stingray leather.
This is a thin card case. The thickness of the main body is only about 5 mm, but it has pockets that can hold 8 cards. The large pocket in the center can hold folded bills.
