For example, when you buy a tie through mail order,
Has anyone had an experience like this?

"When I opened it, it was wrinkled."

"Because of the wrinkles, it wasn't ready for immediate use."

The item I really liked and purchased,
It's such a shame that it arrived in such poor condition.

At Ginza HIKO, we do not just view the items displayed in our store as "products,"

"Artworks painstakingly crafted by artisans"

"An important item that will eventually be delivered to our customers."

It is treated as such.

For example, the tie mentioned at the beginning.

When shipping your item, it will be placed in the official box or bag of each brand, but the tie must be folded in half or in thirds.

If you do this, there is a possibility that the product may have creases when it reaches you.
If it takes time to open the package,
Even clearer...

This cannot be considered an item in "best condition."

So, when we fold ties in half and display them in a cabinet,
And when we ship to our customers, we always include a handmade roll of paper.

By inserting cushions in the creases, we have prevented the formation of sharp creases.

For the same reason, when we propose ties to customers in our stores,
When taking outfit inspiration photos, I never tie a tie.

Showing customers how it would look like if you quickly tied the tie in a knot on the spot would help them imagine what it would actually feel like to wear the tie, which may increase the likelihood of them making a purchase.

However, doing so will cause the tie's interlining to develop creases in irregular positions.

After washing it two or three times, it may start to look worn even though it is new.

That must never happen.
That's what we're thinking.

Also, when packing, be sure to fold the ends of the packing tape that secures the box in a small way.
This makes it easy to remove from the box.

"Of course I liked the contents,
One customer shared their positive feedback, saying, "It was also great to be able to peel the tape off without any stress when opening the package."

Each of these things is a very small thing, but they help us send your item in the best possible condition and make it easier for you to unpack it.
We will continue to attend these events without fail.
