600 days of handiwork 
The large piece, measuring 216cm x 105cm, is made of black baby cashmere and is intricately embroidered with cashmere thread in over 10 colors, including red, yellow, green, beige, purple, and blue.
Amazingly, all of this is handmade.
It is a special technique that takes a single craftsman 600 days to complete, and the technique has been passed down for six centuries. The time it takes to make it and the time the technique has been passed down are both mind-bogglingly long.
The embroidery is done meticulously, stitch by stitch, and feels soft and smooth to the touch. The back side is so beautifully and neatly finished that it can be mistaken for the front side, demonstrating the meticulous workmanship and skill that went into the embroidery.
It looks great with simple clothing and can be worn with a wide range of outfits, from Western to Japanese.
We sometimes receive requests to frame the piece and display it like a tapestry.
It comes in a luxurious black lacquered wooden box, making it a great gift for someone special.
