Fiber of God

Vicuña (vicuna) is an animal hair fiber known as the "fiber of the gods" due to its exceptional rarity, beauty, and exquisite texture. Its fineness is equivalent to Super 230's. Vicuñas, which live in the Andes Mountains of South America at altitudes of approximately 3,700 to 5,000 meters, were so highly prized that only royalty could wear them during the Inca Empire. Due to their rarity, many vicuñas were targeted for poaching, resulting in a sharp decline in their population. In modern times, they have been protected by the Peruvian government. Although hair can now be harvested under government control, only about 250 grams can be harvested from a single vicuña every two years. It is said that less than 150 grams of fiber remains after the hair-straightening process. This large-sized stole is made from 100% vicuña.

All vicuña (vicuna, vicuña, vicuña) products sold by our company have been imported through the proper procedures. They are registered with the Japan Wildlife Research Center, an organization that registers individuals, and each product comes with a registration certificate.
