The soft undercoat is carefully combed and collected, and the amount is only 4 ounces per goat per year. (1 ounce is about 28.35g) With over 100 years of experience, 70 craftsmen are involved and go through 48 processes to create masterpieces of knitwear.

After World War II, in the 1950s, the company expanded into the United States with funding from the British government. The company also undertakes OEM production of sweaters for a long-established, historic brand favored by successive American presidents. Around the same year, the brand name was changed to the current "ALAN PAINE," and the company continues to provide high-quality knitwear to this day.
